VISION OF RMCH UGANDA

TO SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCE THE PREVENTABLE MATERNAL AND NEONATAL DEATHS IN UGANDA.

MISSION OF RMCH UGANDA

TO PROVIDE AND AID THE PROVISION AND ACCESS TO QUALITY AND TIMELY REPRODUCTIVE, MATERNAL AND NEONATAL HEALTH SERVICES TO ALL UGANDANS.

1.   CHAIRPERSON – PDG JOHN MAGEZI  NDAMIRA

John Magezi Ndamira is an accomplished leader with more than 22 years’ experience of leading transformational projects.

John joined Rotary 27 years ago and is a member of the Rotary Club of Kampala North. He has served the District on various positions over the years including Club President, Assistant Governor; Treasurer for the 93rd DCA; Chair Planning, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation; Chair Emeritus RI - USAID WASH programme; and District Governor Emeritus D9213 RY2021-22.

John currently serves as Council on Legislation Representative; and Vice Governor D9213. He is the Team Leader of the MCH Program of Scale Grant Application 2024 where D9213 is one of two finalists.

John, a Major Donor Level 2, is happily married to Barbara, and they are blessed with many children.

2.   VICE CHAIRPERSON – DR BOMBOKKA MPANGA IVAN.

DR. Bombokka Mpanga Ivan is a Rotarian who has served rotary for now seven years, he started as a Rotaractor in 2017 and he is the founder of the ROTARACT CLUB OF KIU-WC, Which was  chartered in 2018 becoming the charter president, did a series of projects including RETAINING THE GIRL CHILD IN SCHOOL, a project that received a honorary award by the Rotary Action Group for Mental Health Initiatives in 2020. Ivan has attended the Rotary International Convention in TORONTO Canada, the rotary international convention of 2019 in Munich , Germany . he has organised rotary medical camps across Western Uganda with support from BIRD organisation and Rotary grants.

He is a medical Doctor by profession specialized in peadiatrics and currently working with Mubende Regional Referral Hospital in Central Uganda currently serving as the Head of Department Accident and Emergency 

3.  CEO – DR RALPH SAMSON ENYAMITOIT

Ralph Samson Enyamitoit is a Medical Doctor specialized in Obstetrics and gynaecology ,  he is currently working with Kampala International University as a Lecturer and he is currently attached to Lira Hospital Teaching site in Northern Uganda.

Ralph is currently fellowshipping the the rotary club of Lira and soon looking forward to become a member.

4.  GENERAL SECRETARY – DR WILLIAM MUGOWA WAIBI

My name is William Mugowa Waibi, a Child Rights Ambassador, I serve in the role of a Pediatrician/ Lecturer at Kampala International University,  School of Health Sciences, Department of Pediatrics & Child Health

I am also the Ugandan ICLD Neuro Pediatric Project lead,  at Jinja Regional Referral Hospital,  under the collaborations between Pediatric Health Initiative,  Karolinska University Hospital, Region Stockholm, Sweden, and Busoga Health Forum,  Jinja Regional Referral Hospital and Jinja City, Uganda.

5.  MEDICAL DIRECTOR – DR BWOGI ERIA

DR Bwogi Eria is a medical Doctor specialized in reproductive health , currently working with Hoima Regional Referral hospital and Reproductive Health Uganda. He is a dedicated humanitarian , currently fellowshipping with the rotary club of Hoima , and soon looking forward to becoming a member.

6.  TREASURER – DR NAMYENYA SALIMAH KATASI

Dr Namyenya Salimah Katasi is a medical Doctor specialized in Peadiatrics . she is currently working with Mubende Regional Referral Hospital as the Head of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit . she is an ANN , Married to a Rotarian and an aspiring member of Rotary, she is so much interested to serve humanity especially when its involving saving lives of the little ones.
