
Born 1946 in Landshut (Bavaria) married to Dr. med. Maria E. Fick, Studied chemistry and pharmacology at the LMU Munich. Scientific work at the ANU Canberra, Australia. Marketing Manager of Beckman in Germany for diagnostic measurement systems. Until his retirement in 2009, founder and manager of a laboratory community/Landshut-Isar. Rotarian since 1997. In his Rotary Club Landshut-Trausnitz he accompanied several foreign projects in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Africa. As a Rotarian he held and still holds many important positions in District 1842 among others he was DG 2011/12 of the then largest German district with 105 clubs. Since 2014 he holds the position of Project Controller of the German Section of RMCH.

Born on 30.06.1946 in Landshut, where he grew up and went to school. After graduating from high school in 1966-1968 officer training at the Federal Police. Subsequently studied chemistry and pharmacology at the LMU Munich. Doctorate (Dr. rer. nat. 1978). 1978-80 "research fellow" at the Australian National University in Canberra. From 1981 - 1996 in sales and marketing of medical diagnostic measuring systems, lastly as Market Manager at Beckman Instruments. 1996 foundation and management of a medical laboratory in Landshut. Retired since 1 July 2009.
